This is an invitation to a surprise open house honoring Harriet Haynes for her 57 years of service as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The open house took place on November 4, 1979 from 2:30PM to 4:30PM at the Joshua Hyde Public Library. On the front of the card is a sketch of the library and monument drawn by John Budd. On the back is a brief history of how the Joshua Hyde Public Library was initially funded, as well as when the monument was erected.
